I stopped here once after another local shop was closed and was helped by the owner. He is so kind and funny. I ordered a zebra mocha and it was delightful. I have a feeling his dry sense of humor may be translating as rudeness, but I think he’s funny!

Lincoln City had a crazy wind storm and a town near by had a big fire that caused a lot of smoke. They shut down the city and all coffee/food shops, even our hotel had no electricity. We decided to go search for a coffee shop & we found Nyla’s! The owner is so sweet and the coffee tasted great, worth the drive from Lincoln City to Depoe Bay. Will go again!

I’m very picky about my coffee. I like a strong, but not burnt tasting, and semi sweet. This place hits the spot. The man running it was fun, friendly and outdid his wife (who runs the one In Lincoln City) making the best coffee on the coast, so far! ...

Everytime I'm in town, I will go out of my way to enjoy a cup of coffee from here! Stopped at another local spot in town, and was actually bribed to leave a negative review for this place. Needless to say I'll never go back there! They have great coffee, decent prices, great customer service! I pay more going to Starbucks and I do here, and I enjoy supporting local!

Surprised to see the reviews saying the owner was rude. We found him to be perfectly polite when we stopped by. Drinks and food were good too!

After 4 years of visiting the coast, Nylas has always been our favorite coffee shop. The owner has always been kind to us, and seeing the bad reviews breaks my heart. People have zero patience and just because he doesn't stick his head into your window like Dutch bros, doesn't mean that he is rude or grumpy. Give him a break, were all just trying to make a living. The coffee is the best on the west coast. Try an iced salted caramel white chocolate mocha, and you will se what I am saying. Thank you

When staying in Pacific City, we will drive out of our way to enjoy Nyla's coffee! Always tastes great, wonderful customer service, and we love to support local! If closer to Depot Bay, we will stop at the one there, coffee is just as good (if not better) and the man running it was great! CC accepted, great prices and great coffee!

We come to Depoe Bay Oregon every year, and one of the things we look forward to is a Mexican Mocha from Nyla's Cup of Jo. There are five of us and we all order the large Mexican Mocha some get it with an extra shot, some get it decaffeinated (not me). He only uses the real original Mexican Mocha mix, not gross syrups. Daniel really is a friendly guy, people need to strike up a conversation with locals, and support local small business. These small businesses are what create the small town beach culture we all enjoy, not the big businesses that PAY PEOPLE to review them with fake reviews. Go see Daniel at Nyla's Cup of Jo, enjoy some small town coffee!!
